Quick and technical Argentine left winger, Dario Felman is remembered as an important player of Boca Juniors and Valencia during the 1970s. He began his career at Gimnasia y Esgrima de Mendoza in 1969 and played on loan at Independiente Rivadavia in 1974, before moving to Boca Juniors in 1975. With the Xeneizes he won 4 titles: the Metropolitano tournament and Nacional in 1976, the Copa Libertadores and the Intercontinental Cup in 1977 (scoring a goal in the final against Borussia MG). Also in 1977 he received his first and last call for Argentina. It was February 27: the day of Diego Maradona’s debut against Hungary. In the 1977/78 season he moved to Mario Kempes’ Valencia, with whom he won the Copa del Rey in 1979, the Cup Winners’ Cup and the UEFA Super Cup in 1980. In 1984 he returned to Mendoza, where he ended his career.
