Agile and quick left-footed winger, Mickey Thomas has played for many important clubs including Manchester United, Everton, Brighton & Hove Albion, Stoke City, Chelsea and West Bromwich Albion. He began his career at Wrexham, where he spent eight seasons. With the Welsh team he reached the quarter-finals of the Cup Winners’ Cup in 1976 and won the Third Division title in 1978.
